Courses

I'm opening up the booking for the next few series of pottery courses at the studio. If you've fancied giving this a go for awhile, now is a good time to get in touch.

My three week course is an ideal opportunity to give pottery a go for the first time, with time spent on the wheel learning the basics of centring and throwing clay.

 

You'll also have the opportunity to learn hand building techniques, including making your own handmade bowl to be glazed and fired for you to take home. There are three spaces in each course, allowing for dedicated time with each student as well as the opportunity to meet new folk.

 

I also cater to those with previous experience, adapting course material to your individual skill level.

The dates I currently have available are:

 

July 11th - 25th. Each session is on Thursdays at 6pm - 8.30pm. The cost is £182.50

September 12th - 26th. Each session is on Thursdays at 6pm - 8.30pm. The cost is £182.50

Please note that a deposit of £50 is required to secure a space, with the rest being due by the beginning of the first session. There is a surcharge of £4 for each pot which I glaze and fire at the end of the course, with the average being between 1 and 4 pots.
